Aiman:

I will create butter chicken since they only know chicken curry. I wanted to make something new because most of the students in school don't know butter chicken so it will be interesting for my customer. In addition, I will also include naan bread but I won't make it so I will buy it from Tesco.

Chicken Curry -

  1. Skinless chicken

  2. large onions,

  3. Chop large tomatoes,

  4. Diced 2 large red-skinned potatoes,

  5. Chop Coriander Leaves2 red chillies

  6. Sunflower oil

  7. Ginger-garlic paste

  8. Black pepper to taste

  9. Curry powder

  10. Garam masala

  11. Ground turmeric

  12. Ground cumin

  13. Salt 1/2 teaspoon of red chili

Biryani -

  1. Basmati rice

  2. Cardamon

  3. Ginger/Garlic paste

  4. Tomatoes

  5. Large onion

  6. Black pepper

  7. Cinnamon

  8. Leaf

  9. Roasted spices - spicy taste.

  10. Ginger raita for a heavenly meal.

Naan Bread -

  1. Baking soda

  2. Salt

  3. Sugar

  4. Yogurt at room temperature

  5. Oil

  6. Warm water

  7. Soft butter or ghee

  8. Chop cilantro

  9. Chop green chili (optional)

  10. Sea salt

Fawaz:

Masala Chai

  • 4 whole cloves

  • 2 cardamom pods

  • 1 cinnamon stick, broken into pieces

  • 3 cups water

  • 1⁄4teaspoon ground ginger

  • 1⁄8teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

  • 1⁄2cup milk

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 2 tablespoons black tea (decaf is best)

Recipe:

  1. In a mortar, crush the cloves, cardamom pods and cinnamon, or use a coffee grinder.

  2. Transfer the crushed spices to a small saucepan, add the water, ginger and pepper and bring to a boil.

  3. Remove the pan from the heat, cover and let steep for 5 minutes.

  4. Add the milk and sugar to the pan and bring to a boil.

  5. Remove from the heat and add the tea.

  6. Cover and let steep for 3 minutes.

  7. Stir the chai, then strain it into a warmed teapot or directly into teacups.
